Aviator game download: check the file before you install

This site hosts no Aviator files. If you already have a file or a link, here is how to check what you downloaded, with a worked example.

Tool · runs in your browserNothing is uploaded

The file stays on your device. It is read by your browser to work out the fingerprint and is never uploaded.

Spaces, colons and capital letters are fine.

Worked example, not your file. A tiny made-up file stands in for an app file here, so you can see what the result looks like. Choose your own file above and this is replaced.

Does not matchwhat the checker says about the example file aviator-game-example.apk
64characters in a SHA-256 fingerprint (0–9 and a–f)
54 bytessize of the example file (real app files are millions of bytes)
50 4b 03 04first four bytes in hex: how every Android app file begins
120 of 256bits of the fingerprint that changed when one byte changed

aviator-game-example.apk is 54 bytes here (a real app file is millions of bytes, but the method is the same). One byte of this copy is different from the file the publisher fingerprinted, and 120 of the 256 bits of the fingerprint changed with it, so the result is Does not match.

This site hosts no app files, so there is no Aviator download to give you. If you have a file, or a link to one, check it before you install. A file can be changed on its way to you without looking any different, and a fingerprint is the way to find out. The worked example below shows what that looks like.

In the example, aviator-game-example.apk is 54 bytes long and begins with 50 4b 03 04, the marker every Android app file starts with. One byte of this copy differs from the file the publisher fingerprinted, so 120 of 256 bits of the fingerprint changed, and the result is Does not match.

The checker is free, needs no sign-in and reads your file on your own phone.

Choose your own file in the box above and the example is replaced by the result for it.

Common questions

Where can I download the Aviator game?

This site hosts no files and cannot point you to one. The game is offered inside different operators’ sites and apps, and copies exist, so a file with the name does not show where it came from. Check any file you have before installing it.

Can I get the Aviator game from my phone’s app store instead?

Whether an app with that name is listed in your store changes over time, and we cannot see your store. A store listing goes through the store’s own checks and a file from a web page does not. If you are offered a file instead, check it before you install.

Can a changed file look exactly like the right one?

Yes. A copy can have the same name, size and icon and still hold different code. Changing even one byte gives a completely different fingerprint, which is why the fingerprint is the check and the look of the file is not.

What do I do with a file that came without a fingerprint?

Treat it as unchecked. You can work out its fingerprint, but there is nothing to hold it against. Ask the publisher for a SHA-256 value, find another route such as a web page, or leave the file alone.

What does a matching fingerprint prove?

Only that your file is identical to the one the fingerprint was printed for. It says nothing about who made it, what the app does once it runs, or whether it is the newest version.
